Harry is the founder, Managing Partner and CEO of H.F.Vickers, a private capital management firm focused on investments in various segments of private equity. He has had a 40-year career building and leading successful businesses and investments in a range of capital-intensive industries including energy, power, shipping, rail and other sectors. Prior to forming H.F.Vickers in 2019, Harry co-founded and managed two multi-billion-dollar investment and asset management businesses. 

From 2007 to 2019 Harry co-founded and was a Managing Partner of Alterna Capital Partners, a private equity firm investing in Core Capital Assets, the core operating assets of capital-intensive industries. To create Alterna he brought together several highly experienced origination and risk/portfolio management members of his prior CitiGroup team to continue the successful strategy developed and executed there. Over the next 13 years Harry led efforts to raise capital for Alterna's two principal funds, totaling approximately $1.2Bn of equity (deployed in over $2.5Bn of assets), primarily sourced from major US State pension funds and other institutional investors. He served as a member of Alterna's Investment Committee and performed various hand-on and lead roles in origination, management and realization for a range of portfolio companies and investments, including some of Alterna's most innovative, profitable and challenging investments. 

Prior to Alterna, Harry joined Citigroup in 1985, where he was elevated to Managing Director and would stay for the next 18 years. There he co-founded and led a highly profitable business investing in a diversified portfolio of assets within the capital-intensive industries noted above. That business grew to approximately $2.25Bn of equity invested in approximately $7Bn in assets with consistently strong profitability, outstanding risk performance and with numerous successful realizations. During that period, he became one of the few managing directors/business heads at CitiGroup who also held a Senior Risk Officer designation. 

Earlier in his career, Harry served as an officer in the United States Navy, co-developed and patented an innovative nuclear energy facility, and worked as an industry expert and asset manager for another major US financial institution (now part of JPMorgan Chase). Harry graduated from Purdue University with a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Engineering. He is a graduate of CitiGroup's Institute of Global Finance and Senior Risk Officer Programs.

Harrison Toll is a Managing Partner and President of H.F.Vickers. Prior to co-founding Vickers in 2019, Harrison graduated from Purdue University with a BS in Multi-Disciplinary Engineering. While at Purdue Harrison was involved in various projects that dealt with issues such as refining business models for non-profits, constructing a record-breaking electric motorcycle, and being a lead researcher for the multimillion-dollar USAID LASER project. 

Concurrently with his responsibilities at H.F.Vickers, Harrison is the CEO of Hollerith Technologies, a start-up tech firm and portfolio company of H.F.Vickers. Harrison has been leading the concept development, app design and coding, content partner relationships, marketing development and launch of its innovative education application "Brain Break".

Michael Monte is an Advisory Partner for H.F.Vickers. Prior to his affiliation with our firm in 2020, Michael spent 35 years in Corporate & Investment Banking and Commercial Finance. In his banking career, Michael has worked for a variety of firms, including JPMorgan predecessors, Bank of America, First Union/Wachovia, CIT Corporation, Huntington National Bank and Citizens Bank. 

For the last 24 years, he has focused exclusively on the Healthcare industry, providing debt capital and advisory solutions for dozens of Corporate and Private Equity clients with aggregate capital commitments in lead-only transactions exceeding $3Bn. In addition, Michael was a principal in a Healthcare Services start-up venture. 

Michael brings a broad and deep base of experience and networks of relationships in structured debt markets, as well as in all sectors of the Healthcare industry. Access to his career experience is a major value-add to the industry expertise capabilities of H.F.Vickers. Michael received a BS in Finance from Purdue University. He holds Series 63 and 79 securities licenses.

Phil Hardy is the founder and CEO of Collective, a Washington DC- based strategic planning, intellectual property management and government relations consulting firm. As an Advisory Partner of HFVickers, Phil brings to bear his unique, multi-faceted understanding of US federal/state and international government procedures that are fundamental to projects in heavily regulated industries.  His broad and deep network of personal relationships and access within multiple elements of government, as well as a range of vital industries, brings core value-add to investments and projects sponsored by HFVickers.

Prior to forming Collective in 2019, Phil spent over a dozen years working in Government Affairs, in a range of roles including both public and private engagements. He conducted policy work at the state level in Idaho and for the United States House of Representatives before joining Strategies 360, a public policy firm with over 20 offices in the West, rising to Senior Vice President in Washington, DC. During this period he advised and represented a broad range of US and international industrial and private equity clients. 

Prior to his engagement in government, Phil spent two decades in New York and London working in the media industry; primarily in the formulation and implementation of international distribution, licensing, and marketing of entertainment content and related intellectual property. Based in the UK both before and at the onset of the European Union, he worked with varying statutory and regulatory regimes both apart and within the growing economic and political union. In addition to European efforts, Phil worked with licensors and distributors in Asia, Australia, and South Africa. During this time Phil worked for a diverse group of companies, including RCA/Bertelsmann before operating his own firm in that sector, Collective Music Limited, from 1999 through 2008.

Phil continues to specialize in intellectual property rights but has added western policy issues, particularly those related to natural resources and extraction, hydropower, and wildland fire mitigation using aviation assets.

Phil is a dual passport holder of the US and UK and received his BA in Political Science from Seton Hall University.
